47 Calendar Blues or: If This Is Tuesday… I’d threaten to learn how to read a calendar but, I’ve been doing that for years. Last time I knew what day of the week it was with any regularity was when ruck sacking through Europe in ‘81 and, even then, it was only on Sundays. You’d step out the door of the hostel only to find the entire continent was closed… D’oh! Needless to say, Sunday became hiking day, thumbing day, rail day… Happy Trails Smitty Shops open. New goodies abound. Wake the neighbors call the kids and come on down.
