Sixth Time’s The Charm
or: The Past Ain’t What It Used To Be
How many covers does any one story have in it? This new cover for the Golden Age will be its sixth one. Let’s hope DC goes for one of the ruffs, ‘cause I’m running out of ideas (and, no, you can’t see them before DC has a chance.)
In the meantime, revisiting the work reminds me of all the characters I didn’t get to play with. I admit I wasn’t fully conversant with DC history, still, it came as quite the surprise to know Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman weren’t “golden age” characters anymore. And forget the Flash, the silver age begins with Captain Comet… wait, what?
